About Emily

Emily Lauren Hair is owned and operated by award winning hairdresser, Emily Lauren Glasspool.

Emily has been hairdressing for the last 9 years, since the ripe age of 16, but has always had a strong passion and love for hair since she was a little girl. 

In the time of her hairdressing career, Emily has had the opportunity to work along side some of the best hairdressers in Australia, learning all of her skills from the best of the best. 

In 2017, Emily competed in the SA state hair and beauty competitions, where she took out 1st place in the runway/catwalk hair category.

In 2019, Emily showcased her skills on the styling stage at Hair Expo in front of hairdressers from all over Australia and New Zealand.

In early 2020, Emily decided to venture out from the hair industry and began working underground in the mines. She found a new love for the dirty, challenging work of mining, but still kept herself busy with hairdressing from home on her days off from mining. 

After 18 months of mining, Emily decided it was time to go back to her passion of hairdressing and create a welcoming space where she could make her clients feel confident and look amazing.

As a mum herself, Emily understands how important it is to make her clients feel confident and beautiful with the limited time we give ourselves in what can be a crazy busy life.
